Two questions around licensing:

(1) How does Lupasafe count the number of licenses that are charged in the quote?

(2) How are service accounts and people who only have an email address, but no hardware, handled?

Lupasafe looks at active licenses in Entra ID.

These are almost always ‘humans', you can always disable employees to lower the quota.

Go to /Employees, select users you don't want to include and click 'Disable selected'.
