What is Always-On E-Learning?
Always-on e-learning provides ongoing monthly training designed to reinforce cybersecurity practices throughout the year. Each month, employees receive a focused training on a specific topic, keeping cybersecurity fresh in their minds and helping them stay proactive. This format supports better retention of knowledge and more responsive actions when it comes to handling cyber threats.
Why Always-On Cyber Awareness Training Matters
Cyber threats are constantly evolving, and one-time training isn’t enough to stay protected. Always-on e-learning ensures employees build and maintain good habits, staying vigilant against threats. This approach reduces the risk of breaches, promotes safe behaviors, and builds a resilient organizational culture around cybersecurity.
How and Why to Communicate with Your Team
For the training to be truly effective, communication is key. Here’s how you can engage your team about this ongoing program:
Explain the Structure: Let your team know they’ll receive new training each month, designed to keep cybersecurity top of mind.
Set Expectations: Emphasize the importance of completing each training promptly—ideally within the first week of each month—to stay aligned with the latest security practices.
Encourage Engagement: Consider regular check-ins or a group chat for employees to discuss the training topics and share insights. This fosters a culture of continuous learning and makes cybersecurity a shared priority.
