This can be set by the user. Lupasafe for example is able to automatically set an asset as 'inactive' when no data has been received for some period of time.
To set up this setting: Go to the top right corner under ´settings´, ´general settings´.
Below, you will find ´AutoTagging settings´.
Set AutoTagging "on".
Default settings are: ´off´, and 'for 30 days',
